Prayer request update

Darin (34 year old who suffered a massive heart attack) remains on life support.  EEG results show severe brain damage and it was his wish to become an organ donor.  This process could take 24 to 48 hours.  Please keep Darin, his family, and medical team in your prayers.

Also pray for Mike, a young husband and dad who is a ten year cancer survivor. He has to go in for a biopsy.

Please pray for a young man, Alex, age 26. He was riding his bike to work and was hit by a vehicle. He has very severe injuries and is currently in an induced coma. (Brain swelling-had to remove part of his skull, removed his spleen, two broken hips, broken back, messed up face; torn liver and intestines). Was in surgery for hours...now it's wait and see).

Please pray for the sister of a parishioner who had an abnormal EKG today and has to have a stress test today and possibly more testing. The family has a history of heart problems.  Also, please pray for the parishioner's cousin who is 48 years old and just diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a double mastectomy November 14. She is the third child out of a family of five children to have cancer. Her older brother and sister have already died, at 49 and 51 years old from cancer.

Please continue to pray for Marita Kenyon, as well as for Don, their family and all the medical personnel seeing to her care.  Marita's condition has improved in that the bleeding in her brain has stopped, and spinal fluid is no longer accumulating on her brain.  If all is still the same today (10/10), the drain tube will be removed.  Radiation is scheduled for next week to shrink the other 5 small tumors.  Then she will rehab in Sioux Falls, to get her strong enough to come home.
