Please pray for Deacon Jim Patera of Oelwein, IA. He has been diagnosed w/ congestive heart failure through recent appts at Mayo Clinic. Deacon Jim's condition can not be cured, but, praise God! can be treated! He is managing the parish in Oelwein pretty much on his own, with only 1 priest to visit for Mass on Sundays.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
